Amateur Radio testing will be offered by SANDARC-VEC on Saturday only from 9AM through 5PM.  Testing will occur in the Columbia Room on the second hotel level.  Greg Smith, N6NYX our VEC manager will be in charge. 

You do not have to register with the convention in order to take an examination.  Please be prepared to have an FRN as we cannot administer an examination without it.  If you do not have a filled out NCVEC-605 form, we can provide one for your registration for the examination.  Also please be prepared to present your government issued photo id (driver’s license, military id or passport) along with $5 cash.  If you are upgrading your license please bring a copy of your current license.  If you wish to renew, change your address or name you may bring those in with you at no charge for the service.  Upgrade your license to general or extra and then come downstairs and get on the air with your new license privileges.
